Resilient: Soil, Water and the New Stewards of the American West

The National Young Farmers Coalition has just launched their new short film Resilient: Soil, Water and the New Stewards of the American West. In the context of a prolonged drought in the western part of the United States, this films shares with us a different way of producing food.

From an environmental perspective, big agriculture is one of the main culprits of our expanding greenhouse gas emissions. Alternatively this film shows us a group of farmers from the Colorado River basin that are protecting the soil and water, providing food for us city folks, while at the same time forging resilience.
